Dear Atlantis

It’s because I don’t want it to end to fast, that I tell you this in parts. Every time I write a piece of what happened, I go through everything again. It’s a way to stay close to my experience, to feel intensively what happened.

After we kissed at our beach walk, barefoot, walking through the seawater, we both felt a bit clumsy. We laughed and ran to the beach house. So glad there was nobody there. The house is no more then a little shed, meant to find shelter from the sun, or the sea wind for a while. Our skin was burning from the sun, and we were glad we could hide from the sun for a moment. In there we sat down on the floor, giggling. Now I kissed her. First a little kiss on her lips, then searching with my tongue for a warmer kiss. She opened her lips, and her kiss was sweet and wet. She held me so close to her body. Her breasts where pressed to my body, and I felt her breathing. This was what I was longing for since the day we had met. We lay down and held each other, only enjoying our being together, her body close to mine. She caressed my arms, my shoulders, and I felt a little kiss in my neck. I played with her long, blond hair. It was soft and smelt like only a woman can smell, mixed with the smell of sea. My hand went down to her back. I felt her skin burning, and asked if it was hurting from the sun. Would you like me to put some oil on it, I asked.

I rubbed her back with sun oil. I enjoyed feeling her skin under my hands. I started with her neck, very carefully, because I saw her skin was burned a bit, there. Then my hands smoothly went down, rubbing, no, more caressing her back. In between, I kissed her hair. There was silence between us, and the air was filled with the sound of the sea and the waves, rolling up and down the shore. An endless moment, so precious…

Then we heard some voices from a distance. We frightened both, looked at each other, and decided to stop for the moment.

2 older people, a man and a woman stopped at our shed. They were very friendly, wanted to make a talk, that was obvious. A moan from us…

After a short chat, we walked back. Not disappointed, no, not at all. This walk… for us it had everything. Most of all it had a promise in it: This is not the last time we have met…

For the time being I have to live on these memories. She went on a holiday, but she promised me to send a card. I know she will, we won’t forget each other. It was to special for that.

Your Thira

P.S. I don’t think she can wear the nice suit to her work again. It was full of sun oil…
