You are invited to the 33rd Annual

Bayou Lafourche Antiques Show

in

Thibodaux, Louisiana, September 11-13, 2009

On Labor Day 2008, Hurricanes Gustav made it necessary to cancel the Antiques Show for only the second time in its history.  Planning is underway for the 2009 show to be held the weekend after Labor Day in the Harang Municipal Auditorium (formerly known as the Thibodaux Civic Center).

Sponsored by the women’s civic club, Ta-Wa-Si, the Bayou Lafourche Antiques Show and Sale takes place annually in September, the weekend after Labor Day.  Over 40 dealers will have a wide variety of quality items for sale, including furniture, books, paper, glassware, architectural and garden items, oil paintings, pottery, oriental rugs, china, country baskets, quilts, silver and folk art.

If you like Cajun cooking, you will not be disappointed with this show.

For over 30 years, net proceeds from the show have been used to benefit local charities, schools, and community projects.

These pages are intended to provide information about the event for the patrons and dealers who have made the show such a success for a third of a century.

Country Home magazine calls the Thibodaux show one of the “100 Hot Antiques Shows.”
