I finally decided in my busy life to take off and have a vacation. I have had some sort of ones before but they where always some sort of studies or courses. I have never really been in an airplane or traveled much of a distance. So Ok where and what do I want to do. Well I came home one day totally defunked about my little world..things weren't looking to promising at work or home. Gads me need to get away. Im a devoted fan of Billy Idol since 1978. So I went to check out soon to be tour dates, hoping that maybe playing a show in Vancouver, B.C. Nope all the dates listed where in the States and far from my home. Now I was really depressed. Then the idea of my first Vacation hit me!!!!!!!!!!

This was the best part of my trip...I got to meet TheIdolOne himself..before I could ask, he suggested the pix and gave my camera to Toast. Billy also signed 2 more things in my CyberPunk collection.I was totaly mesmerized and couldn't say much. Before I knew it security had to take him away...awwww!

My agenda for my Vacation was:
6 days in Cleveland, Ohio
2 days in Phoneix, Arizona
6 days in Las Vegas

My best buddy,,,Brandie and me at the Rock N' Roll hall of fame..Cleveland, Ohio. I visited her and her husband Matt for 6 days...shhhhhh don't tell anyone but she a Reverend (I do her website) and lives ontop of a funeral home. We been internet buddies for 4 years and finallly got to meet.I had a fantastic time with my Big Sis for 6 days. Then I was off to Phoneix, Arizona for the first of three Billy Idol concerts.

Well first when I got there some fans where across the street from the buses.After chatting a bit with them..I wondered down a bit to lean against the wall. This guy motioned me over..he said he was Billy's driver..ok cool..I will chat a bit with him. First he said I should be careful they may think me a stalker or groopie..No way! Im a devoted fan and fan club member from Vancouver, B.C. Canada. He asked me a bunch of stuff and then said "Are ya Crazy lady!" my response was "Ya maybe!" Just then Billy came out of his bus and was greating fans. I headed over and stood at the back of the line. Gee must of been a small line cause next thing I knew I was standing next to my" RockGod". Oh MY!!!! The show totaly blew me away..I heard reports that Billy wasn't well but he must have bounced back in very fine form..cause Billy and The Band where the best I have seen them yet. I couldn't wait for the next 2 concerts. Las Vegas and the Inland Invasion.

I hung around outside hoping for maybe a few more pixs of Billy with fans..one girl was so cute and Billy walked over to her..she got a pix..cool. A couple others came with roses..I don't know if he ever got them.I kept thinking after that chat with Billy's driver..gads hope they don't think me the first 2 of what he said. Oh well I could always call Carole to bail me out..LOL

And then off to Las Vegas!!!!!

I guess I was a bit too far away..but it was cool I was allowed to take some of the Las Vegas show. I have a few more left to edit so check back for more if your interested. Gotta say the show was even better than Phoneix..they kept getting better and better. OH YA!!!!!!

Next day after the Las Vegas show was the Inland Invasion..I got a bit worried cause I didn't know what time Billy and The Band where gonna be playing. I asked around the night before but no-one I guess knew. Well this trip was gonna be the most difficult. After getting back to my gasp! room and crashed for 2 hours. I got a cab to the car rentals at the airport and rented a brand new KIA sedan. Kewl..it was black too. After a couple tries got on 15 south and headed for Devore. What a friggin long drive that was. And in all the rush I forgot my camera too. I finally after 3 hrs stopped at a 76 gas station and asked a girl for directions to the concert. Next thing I knew all the kids where yelling "Billy F*cking Idol" yep I was close. And they said "OH Cool U A Devoted Fan" they where blown away that I was all the way from West Coast Canada and drove from Las Vegas.I followed some other fans from East LA..I asked when I got in if Billy's played yet..No! Cool I made it!!!!!!!!!!!!! When Billy and The Band came on the whole sleepy bored crowed started to "Rock" it was a great show..and I was astonded that I was there to see it. A part of "Rock history"!!!!!!! need me say anymore.

I got back from the Inland Invasion at 5am and crashed. Wow!!! I was totaly blown away..all the concerts where great and I had a wonderful time. I planned to stay for 3 more days in Vegas. Well I did go to a few things there..which was cool but it went down hill from there..I guess a little white hillbilly chick from Canada don't fit into a place like that.Oh it is a beautiful place n all. But not for me..I kept getting asked what time and where my show was..Duh!! me thinkys cool think me in a band or something..ya right! finally asked after being asked this 20 or so times..nope not in a band they all thinkies me a "Stripper" OMG! That freaked me out. Yep! And some creap tried to mugg me to..he ended up singing sporano on the pavement. And to top it off I had some suits with ears following me around...they even riffled threw my room and my door was always marked. Asked the housekeeper to quit going threw my stuff and she said some suits where in my room. Well after that the sleezy hotel staff wouldnt even talk to me.
I couldn't wait to get my butt home..and to top it all off I got detained at the airport customs for an hour. I had to repack all my suitcases. I had a great time at all the concerts but you can keep Las Vegas. Nope not a place for me to hang out and party at.

And this is for all you "Security" dudes who harrased, followed, intergated, riffled threw my stuff and just basicly tried to freaked me out. I salute "U".
