1st Runner Up - Boscombe Christmas Carnival 2008

The Wessex Household is a Medieval Re-Enactment Society based in and around the Bournemouth area of Dorset on England's South Coast. (that's for our foreign visitors). We are NOT live role players, in the fact that our weapons are real, albeit Blunt, and the Era we fight is The War Of The Roses, circa 15th Century England. Although we use character names, the characters that we play have elements of our own personalities and personal histories in them, and we try to make our shows as time authentic as we can without going fully Living History.

Update June 2009
Well, Summer has arrived, although sadly we haven't got anything on our calendar at the moment. And as a lot of our members are busy with other projects, the group is having a bit of time off. We are NOT disappearing but the site might for a bit, as Geocities is closing later in the year. But once we find a new host, you will be able to follow our currant and previous exploits.
