BACK TO HOMEPAGE
Durham Ice Hockey Club was always known for its great junior development, and the success was shown through the amount of players in senior hockey who learnt the game at the Riverside Rink.  The Mosquitoes (Under 16s) and Hornets (Under 19s) won trophies just about every season, including many British Junior Championships, with the Under 16 version being held at Wembley.
Some of the most well know names to have been produced by DJIHC are the Cooper brothers, Johnson brothers, Michael Tasker, Stephen Foster, Paul Dixon, Jon Weaver, Paul Smith, Ivor Bennett amongst others.
This page lists the former DJIHC players who are currently playing Senior hockey.
