The Connecticut Society of Genealogists, Inc. - PO Box 435, Glastonbury, CT 06033 phone 860.569.0002; maintains a list of members who are professional researchers but CSG itself does not do research so please do not submit queries or requests for research as CSG Inc. does not have the staffing to respond to such requests. I am an amateur researcher/genealogist and will search these New Milford, CT, records: church 1716-1939; births, marriages, deaths 1702-1902, probate 1787-1922; land 1706-1902; and US census for New Milford 1790-1930. Will also research Connecticut State Library archives. My fee is $12.00/hour (does not include mileage, photocopies or postage.) Kathleen Zuris

My Name is Bruce Wilcox, am a retired Police Officer and have been involved in genealogy for about 15 years. Have been a member of the CT Society of Genealogists for last 12 years and would be willing to do research in Litchfield County as I have already been to each Town Hall doing Wilcox/Wilcoxson, Colby/Coleby, and Brown/Browne. I have an extensive compilation of descendants of William Wilcoxson of Stratford CT (44,000 or so).
