Carol Schilling has some history of the Lees of Kent. Her gr.gr.grandfather lived in the house after the power plant and cemetery that is now for sale and the Kent land trust has purchased the 14 acres on the river. She has photos of Rt 7 being constructed and is also related to the Newtons.
Fran Johnson has extensive files on people who lived in Kent since 1739 and is willing to share. She is also willing to help anyone looking for info on Warren family.

Carol A. Hanny has posted an Abbreviated History of Kent taken from "The Connecticut Guide", Published by the Emergency Relief Commission, 1935. Remember, some of the route numbers have changed since 1935!
