The Spirit Plane had their inauspicious beginnings in Madison, Wisconsin as a surf rock band. Now they are using more down tempo rhythms, widening dynamics using waltz beats, vintage organ and keyboard played in minor keys and have now added the emotive vocals of singer Joshua Sultan. The band completes itself by performing short concept pieces depicting characters and situations portrayed in a David Lynch fashion. The material subjects range from, among other things, betrayal, lies, and secrets. Expect a spooky rock vibe and mellow atmosphere from this band.
