Adventure Games

Heres a chronology of my progress in games so far. Those completed and released are green, and those not released are in red. Some Green ones are downloadable, but some of the files may be old, buggy, versions as it's been hard to dig them out of my hard drive, and other wen sites.

Discworld 4: After toying around with AGS (adventure game studio) i tried making a fourth discworld game, but lost a lot of my work to general carelessness. I soon tried again, but gave up after a while.

Dark Sects - Chapter 1: This is my earliest game to be released, and features simple graphics and gameplay (very simple). i learnt a lot from it, and tried to make newer versions but never got round to it.

Grave Digger Joe: With 640x400 hand drawn graphics, this surreal adventure looked at character of mine from many things, called Jo(e). He's a Grave digger in this incarnation, and must prevent the Evil Moon from ruling the world with his army of the undead. i only ever got a few rooms completed, but i often came back to it and gave it a go.

Dom Jonson/Evil Timmy: I foolishly undertook the huge task of making a large game, based around the school, with a plot to sort out later on. It went surprisingly well, and i made most of the images, until I had to come up with puzzles and a way for the story to fit together. It was a lot of fun though.

Discworld 4 (3d): I took a leaf out of the other Discworld games' books, and based in on the hogfather this time, and in 3d too. But I only really got as far as a long introduction before my skills with Anim8or ran thin. I left the 3d stuff for a while after this, only toying with it every now and again.

Vengence Of The Chicken: For the new (at the time) Reality On The Norm series of games, i made this (the 2nd one). It featured a chicken who solved the crime of who shot her brother, and shot the culprit. Reality On The Norm is a fictional town, made up by a group of AGS users, and it started out with a similar idea to the league of gentlemen. It now seems very insane and out of control at times. The humble chicken that I created now seems to be something of a mafia boss.

Bacmeth: It isn't really a game, but I made it with AGS. It's really a simple cartoon version of Bacmeth. Bacmeth is a parody of Macbeth that I made, for some street theatre.

Quirk Pantaloon: This was quite a big venture, but this time i had skill at drawing and a clear idea of the plot. I spent a long time on this, and if you play what i've got so far, it seems fairly good. The intro is too long though, and there aren't many puzzles. But it does look good.

Click HERE to download an unfinished, buggy version of it, for all the world to see. there isn't really a puzzle at all, but a few cutscenes, and backgrounds.

Philip Illinilings And The Murder At Fish Hotel /&/ The Treaure Of Monkey Peninsula: Fish Hotel was a short game about an investigation, with simple graphics, and a simple plot. It's better than my early works, but nothing really special. I made it for MAGS, a competition to create a game, in less than a month, within a given set of guidelines. The next game down, Monkey Peninsula was also created for a MAGS competition. MAGS was shortlived, but seems to be getting a boost of popularity all of a sudden. Each took less than 2 weeks. Fighting Demo: I created a simple fighting demo in AGS, with the idea of creating a computer game with a similar storyline, and characters to GraveDigger Joe (above). Both of these games, and the next game (my current project) are based on the same idea. I only used a robot as it was a spare model on my computer

My latest game was called DIG, and is about a gravedigger who is attacked by zombies one night and decides to end the madness (and try and survive). It's all done in a kind of cel-shaded style, and was making the graphics with Anim8or. The game would also feature a fighting system, very different to my fighting demo, but from the same idea. Here's a screenshot of the first room (his shack, in the graveyard).

Unfortunately i have stopped making games now.

Please ask before using any of my images or games in any way. Sorry for the lack of web-page making skill, but then that's not what it's all about.
