This Week: The mission of Apollo 12, and interviews with astronauts Dick Gordon and Alan Bean.
The history of NASA has been
both storied and riveting. From the first flight of
Mercury-Redstone
3 in 1961, astronauts have explored the universe in many ways.
The
daring feat of exploring the moon, daring flights to rendesvous with
spacecraft travelling at speeds in excess of 17,000 miles per hour.
Every week, we reach another milestone in America's space program. Occasionally, a surprise interview will give you the perspective of an astronaut, NASA engineer or even news reporter from the golden age of space flight.
Recently, show producer Rich
Kirchner had the opportunity to interview the International Space Station
Expedition 11 astronauts while they were on orbit! Coming soon, a streaming video file of the interview.
