Noble Intention: To own one copy of, and have read, each and every single novel that has ever won a Hugo, Nebula, Philip K.Dick, World Fantasy, Arthur C. Clarke, or Stoker Award by the end of five years from the commencement of this exercise in March 2002.

Why? To get a sense of perspective on the speculative fiction field, back to the 1950s, and to give myself an excuse to build more nice bookshelves.

Keeping Track of My Progress: (Or lack thereof) On the tables below, books that I've never so much as set my dirty paws on are left a cold and melancholy white.

Books that I own but have not read are marked in anticipatory yellow.

Books that I have read but do not currently own are marked in reproachful blue.

Books that I own and have read are marked in friendly, happy green.

The greener the board, the nearer I am to world domination, or a visit with the eye doctor. Fear my elite speculative fiction intake skills, mortals.
