This is my 1966 Nova. It certainly needs a lot of work, but it's fairly dent freet, has no bondo and it's MINE.. I bought this car when I was 18 years old. Before this one I had a 1966 4 door Nova, but decided that if I was going to invest any kind of money, maybe I should get a 2 door. I know this may seem wierd to some people, but I prefer the 2 door sedan over the 2 door coupe. Maybe it's just me.
I purchased this car from a guy in the paper for $700. It had a TH350 and a 230 6 cylinder. It ran good but the transmiission was iffy at best. I have since installed a 4 speed, and replaced the 70's stype oval slotted rally's with these 15x7 Camaro rallys.

A pic of the Comp Cam Pro Magnum roller rockers. These are 1.52 Ratio full rollers for  big block 7/16 screw in studs.
Hays Aluminum flywheel, 168 tooth internal balanced, weighs 15 pounds. It has a replacable steel friction insert.
2 pics of the IMI mini starter. If you look closley at the pic on the right, you can see one of the the oil pan kick outs. I have the starter on the position (There are 6 possible positions) that puts it closest to the pan, for maximum header clearance. The pan holds 8 quarts plus filter.
The engine all together (Pretty much) it has aluminum serpentine pulleys and a Weiand Team G water pump, to match the intake manifold. The 180 amp alternator is not installed, nor is the MSD Pro Billet distributor.
This pic is just to give you an idea of just how tall the engine is. The Team G intake coupled with the Predator carb, makes the engine sit very tall. I plan to have the hood cut so the scoop will stick out the top because the carb is about 1/2 inch below the bottom of the hood with no air filter. The scoop was installed for this reason.
Extra Stuff - 16 gallon fuel cell in trunk, Autometer Ultralite guages, aluminum radiator, battery relocated to trunk, twin 14 inch Electric fans
