Rick Tittle - rhythm guitar
Bio

Rick & wife, Tina Tittle.

Rick Tittle, Sr., is the man who started it all. Rick always had a love for Country Music and The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Rick's mom used to listen to the Opry every Saturday night. Rick's biggest influences were Ernest Tubb, Roy Acuff, George Jones, and pretty much the whole Opry cast from 1950 until 1965. Like Rick always says, "Never forget how we got here!"

Rick started out by sitting in with bands in East Dubuque, IL. He lived in Tallahassee, Florida for a short period of time and it was there that he got paid to sing for the first time. After moving back to Iowa, he joined Bob And His Country Pride band. He only played for Bob fot a short time, but he knew that this is what he wanted to do. After leaving and forming The Rick Tittle Show, things took off.

In 1983, the band won the Southwest Wisconsin Country Music Contest. A year later, they won 2nd place in the Wrangler Country Showdown local competition. Rick received two commodations from the United States Navy Reserves for his support of the United States Navy Seabees. Rick's band has helped open for Country star Tanya Tucker and also for former Vice President Al Gore. Rick has also sang on the stage of the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Over the years the members have changed but the Country in him hasn't. Rick says that he has been blessed with the chance to entertain people. Rick cherishes friendships! He has also been honored to be able to appear with the BEST musicians in the area. He says he didn't do it on his own. The three guys he has with him are THE BEST!!! Their friends and fans can see how much fun they are having on stage. Believe me, there are stories out there that only the boys can tell (just ask their wives!). The stories from over the years will keep you laughing all night long.

Rick has retired from Roadway Express. He is now enjoying his retirement with his wife, Tina. "Life is really good now! I have everything." he says. "Lovely wife, best band around, and FRIENDS." says Rick. He has 7 Children, 2 Step Children, and 15 Grand Children, "And proud of every one of them!"

Rick says "they will make you laugh!" Some songs "will make you cry!" You will leave after every show knowing that you have just seen and heard the best.

The Rick Tittle Band will be going strong for a long time to come. Rick says, "Ya'll come see us, ya hear!"
