Research has shown that a child’s learning experience is enhanced when integrated with hands-on activities. The Rich Craft staff works with teachers and school administrators to integrate a broad variety of educational activities to complement the curriculum and develop new craft projects and ideas to facilitate learning.
Children can learn about everyday products & materials, while developing their motor skills and increasing attention to detail. Through these creative, exciting, and age-appropriate activities, students will retain more information and gain a stronger understanding of the subject matter.
What’s in a Session?
Each craft session begins with an interesting educational presentation which includes a brief history of the product or the activity, and the transformations it went through before forming into a product that we see today.
Students will be introduced to a related craft activity, where they can experience hands-on what goes into creating that product. They will then work to complete their individual projects, which can be taken home the same or following day.
