Switching The AG42B Sight Presets |
You might have discovered while reading the Owner's Manual that you can set the Ljungman's sights to either Spitzer (Pointed) or Ogival (Round Nose). I have put together this step-by-step walkthrough to better assist you in preforming this useful feature. |

First, remove the top Handguard by pushing up the Rear Band Retainer and sliding the Rear Band forward and then pulling the Handguard toward the muzzle and off. |

Next, locate and remove the Rear Sight Retaining pin and pull it towards the Muzzle to remove. It should release easily. (CAUTION: Be sure the Elivation Knob dosen't dislodge and become lost or damaged) |
Now, remove the Elevation Knob and place it aside. You will notice two sets of numbers. 1~6 (for Round Nose) on the inner circle and 1~7 (for Pointed) on the outer. |

Remove the Rear Sight Elevation Plate and turn it 180 degrees to the 2ed Setting and replace it. You will notice that a diagram of the slected Bullet type appears on either the left or right side of the viewing hole. |

Replace the Elevation Knob, Retaining Pin, and Handguard. Your Rifle is now set to your desired Ammunition type. |
