Quendi—"those who speak with voices"—was the name the first Elves gave to themselves when they awoke by the shores of Cuiviénen long ago.
This site contains the voices of several fans of Tolkien and his Elves, though not everything here is connected to these topics. The name seemed appropriate since we like to talk a lot—perhaps we should interpret it to mean "chatterboxes". We hope you enjoy our words and ideas, O gentle readers.
