The goal of our website is to explore the role of the canonical gospels in contemporary film. While many people may see the Bible as antiquated and obsolete, we hope to show the prevalence and relevance of the Bible in modern media and culture. We will apply material learned in Rev. Jonathan Lawrence's Theology class at the University of Notre Dame to interpret the imagery, allegory, and implications of The Matrix, The Green Mile, Dogma, and The Terminator in modern context.
