I've arrived at the banks of understanding
God's word is the light to my feet.
And now I can show to others the WAY
Offer life to the ones that I meet.

One only must yearn for clear understanding
Must truly be humble in heart
to listen to all that JEHOVAH has given
To his meek ones to humbly impart.

If the honest desire to serve God is there
Not a 'form of devotion proved false"
Then the course of true worship will shine from the lampstand
And the meek ones will know there is nothing else.

When the DAY comes when
all finally will know
Despite their wicked and selfish hearts
the name of Jehovah, the God of TRUTH and LIFE
Then the meek will retain the good 'part'

Life everlasting, as promised to us
By the God whose very name says it all
"He causes to become" all the things promised
Giving good gifts to his CHILDREN, one and all.

And his name will be held up in truth once again
And the people on earth all will see
Those who have listened and heeded the warning
Have chosen for their part the KEY.

The key to real life, and the key to true joy
The key to the end of the pain we all know,
I've come to the valley of TRUTH - Let me in;
There's no other place I would go.
