You have come upon The Marauder's Pensieve™. Here is a collection of original, fictitious short stories recounting the experiences of the principal three Marauders (Sirius Black, James Potter and Remus Lupin) and their little ::coughs traitorous coughs:: sidekick, Peter Pettigrew, in their seven years at Hogwarts. All stories were based on and inspired by the Harry Potter series, by J. K. Rowling.
In other words, you are now reading the introduction to a Harry Potter (or more specifically, Marauders) fan fiction website. Now go forth and enjoy!
(NOTE: The stories on this website are sorted (yes, pun intended) in chronological order, by the school year in which the events would most realistically occur. A map (yes, another pun) of links to the stories can to found at your left.)

In honor of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, we are updating this site for the first time in, according to this website, a little less than two years. Sorry about the delay; we actually had a story, but never put it up, and then I got a new computer, and since floppy drives aren't used much anymore, I couldn't move the story to my new one, so I had to retype the whole thing and didn't get around to doing that until this week, when I felt an update would be most appropriate. Oops. Hopefully Book Six will inspire many new chapters to our story, and thus more updates by both of us. So we hope you enjoy our latest installment, entitled A Happy Ending and a New Beginning, and of course Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! -J.Alberghini

Two corridors down, the nasty poltergeist had gone berserk and was now insistent on pelting unaware passersby with chicken bones
from every corner of the school. The Hogwarts castle had not seen such pandemonium since the dungbomb conspiracy of ‘73; an incident that left hallways reeking of putrid gasses for three whole months. Naturally, the entire student body was presently hysterical, running for shelter in every place imaginable as the staff hurried to find a solution to the chaos.
Suddenly, a mass of thick dark hair whizzed by the Potions room and into a nearby closet. Harry Potter had just ducked a chicken bone gone haywire and was now safety tucked next to a mop and a pail, as he tried hastily to catch his breath.
After a few minutes, the din quieted and peace seemed to be once again restored to the school. Thinking himself safe from future attacks, Harry adjusted his round glasses and cautiously stepped out from the closet.
What he discovered next came as a complete shock. In place of the expected corridor leading to Potions, Harry now found himself in a maze. On the walls, where one would normally expect to find mirrors, hung endless tapestries, flashing a slew of colors and words.
"Yahoo!"
"Hotmail."
"Geocities."
Harry rubbed his eyes in bewilderment and turned around, hoping to go back into the closet and try coming out again into the normal corridor. But in place of the closet door now stood a pedestal holding a shallow stone basin. Wisps of an eerie silvery-white substance swirled inside it. Harry recognized the basin at once as a pensieve, a special container for holding memories. He had seen one like it once before in the headmaster’s office; but this one was slightly different. At the edge of the basin, in place of carvings of runes and symbols, was the glowing label, “The Marauder’s Pensieve.”
The pit of Harry’s stomach gave a little jolt has he recognized the name of his father’s high school clique. Thoroughly fascinated now, he edged toward the basin and prodded the swirling contents with his wand, all the while pushing his head further and further toward the basin’s center. In a matter of seconds, the swirling, foam-like substance became clear, and Harry’s stomach gave another jolt as he felt himself being hurled, head first, into the first memory...

Firefly of Earth
Firefly, also more commonly known as Tina, is a high school
senior in New York City. She is an avid fan of anime, and enjoys
reading (mostly novels and poetry) and writing (mostly poetry, original
short fiction (not fan fiction), and analytical essays on anime), and of
course the Harry Potter series. She has read all the Harry
Potter books that have been published thus far, including the Comic
Relief books Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Quidditch
Through the Ages. Her favorite character, among the Marauders,
is Remus Lupin. This is her first fan fiction website, and most of
her stories here are part of her first attempts at fan fiction; so she
begs that you be gentle in the critiquing.

J. Alberghini
J.Alberghini, also a high-school senior, is the more fanfic-obsessed of the two, writing fanfics ranging from Power Ranger fics to Gundam Wing and other anime ones. She mostly writes fanfiction more than anything else, but hopes to get something original published someday. She currently poses all five of the Harry Potter books, and they, as well as various anime and manga, are all one will get if one tries to sue her, as she considers herself to be very poor. She likes all the Marauders, with the exception of Pettigrew, equally, but her favorite non-Marauder in this series, is of course Lily. The majority, though not all, of the romantic fics in this series shall be written by her. She prefers not to hear the word "Cute" to be mentioned in respect to her fanfic, and is currently trying to shift to more serious, angsty fics, but that is slow in coming. Though she doesn't like to torture characters very much emotionally, she does enjoy torturing them physically, especially, in this series, James and
Snape.
J.Alberghini also has her own website about Escaflowne, Visions
of Angels - Tenkuu no Escaflowne, despite the fact that she's not very good with websites and leaves most of the technical work for this site to her partner. She also posts
fanfic, besides on her own sites, at Blissful
