ISLAMIC
Islam is not a new religion, but the same truth that God revealed through all His prophets to every people. For a fifth of the world's population, Islam is both a religion and a complete way of life. Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy, and forgiveness, and the majority have nothing to do with the extremely grave events which have come to be associated with their faith...One billion people from a vast range of races, nationalities and cultures across the globe - from the southern Philippines to Nigeria - are united by their common Islamic faith. About 18% live in the Arab world; the world's largest Muslim community is in Indonesia; substantial parts of Asia and most of Africa are Muslim, while significant minorities are to be found in the Soviet Union, China, North and South America, and Europe

PAPERS One of the books Nehru had written was Discovery of India. This book was written by him when he was in Ahmadnagar Fort prison in 1944. He took five months from April to September 1944 to complete the book. The proofing of the book was done by his daughter Indira Gandhi as he had no time to read the typescript. The book remains as written in prison with no additions or changes, except for the postscript at the end.
As Nehru said about the book: "It is mine and not wholly mine, as I am constituted today; it represents rather some past self of mine which has already joined the long succession of other selves that existed for a while and faded away, leaving only the memory behind."

`What else is wisdom? What of man's endeavour
Or God's high grace, so lovely and so great?
To stand from fear set free, to breathe and wait;
To hold a hand uplifted over Hate;
And shall not Loveliness be loved for ever?'

KERALA
Kerala is a pluralistic society where no one ethnic community or religious group dominates the scene. They are all minorities, and all minorities have their place. All are Keralites first; then they are Brahmins, Nairs, Ezhavas, Muslims, Christians, and Jews. The extinct religious communities of Jainism and Buddhism also have made their contributions to Kerala's culture.

The story of man begins fourteen to fifteen millions years ago when our earliest ancestors, whose existence is recorded in the earth that provided their home. Only in the past five or six thousand years has the story of man appeared in written records; the vast eons of time before constitute prehistory. Prehistoric man was faced with basic demands that still concern human beings today and he undoubtedly also asked the great questions of life, the answers to which form the core of history. The answers that prehistoric men found, however, remain locked as secrets in the unwritten past, and can be deduced only from anthropological and archeological finds, inference from later history, and study of the culture of such primitive peoples as still exist today.
