Biography

Born in Southampton, England, HeadKase grew up with English wrestling heroes including the likes of Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks. These men were famous in a country where wrestling is not considered a major sport. HeadKase knew that, in order to emulate his heroes, he needed to go where people truly appreciated the art of wrestling. He came to America. He spent a few months bouncing around federations, with his cousin and tag team partner Ant Grist (AKA Vampire) winning Tag Team gold. HeadKase and Grist parted ways and, as he carried on struggling to ignite his singles career, HeadKase started to think perhaps his choice of profession had been a mistake. Then Grist called him up and rejuvenated HeadKase’s belief in wrestling. He introduced him to Deathcore Wrestling. The unique style and immense competition finally held HeadKase’s interest and he knew his search for a home was over.

Wrestling mainly in the hardcore division, HeadKase was involved in some of the most brutal matches in Deathcore Wrestling’s history. The one that was perhaps his most famous was the Wondercrush Deathmatch against DCW legend Expendable Youth. It was also the match that nearly ended HeadKase’s career. He suffered an horrific injury to his left knee as Youth used him as a human shield against an explosion of glass. He only fought one more match after that. Ironically, it was his first DCW title shot, a shot at the BloodLust Title, against the man who only the week before had caused the knee injury. Although HeadKase made it to the match, he was beaten with relative ease and realised that he had to let his knee heal if he was even going to able to walk properly again. He left the DCW and retired from professional wrestling.

However, he soon started to miss the action and, half a year after retiring, he made his return to the DCW. This time round, he formed an allegiance with two other established DCW stars, Slash and Skyler Sikko Stevenson. This was the rebirth of The ANARCHY. The ANARCHY soon started paying dividends for HeadKase as he beat (somewhat controversially) the then Deathcore Champion Vinyard X to finally win a DCW Title. HeadKase’s career was massively boosted by the ANARCHY and he found himself competing in multiple matches each week. As The ANARCHY grew in numbers and power, they looked to be taking over the DCW. Unfortunately, opposition was strong and The ANARCHY went through a bit of a jittery period. HeadKase lost his BloodLust Title to Scott Morbid and experienced a few animosities with Triple S. There was talk of the ANARCHY splitting up, but they stayed strong and were easily the most dominant force upon closure of the DCW.

The DCW’s closure stung HeadKase. He went to the UCW, joining his brother and cousin (former DCW Tag Team Champions, Stupify), but left soon after. Next stop was the UWF where he did well, pushing himself to the forefront and becoming the Heavyweight Champion. He also joined the KWWE and was one half of the Tag Team Champions for the week after he joined until he left, a period of four months. Then came the call from an old ally, Slash, and HeadKase moved to the ICW, a fed that had been closely linked to the DCW for a long time. However, this was all preparation for the big moment that every man that was in the DCW had been waiting for; the reopening of Deathcore Wrestling.

In DCW HeadKase joined forces with Dragon, an ICW legend, and the owners of DCW, Crisis and The X, the X-Tinction Agenda. HeadKase quickly reclaimed his BloodLust Title. However, the DCW was forced to close once more and HeadKase was left looking for another fed once more. That’s when he was surprised to hear from an old DCW ally, Disturbed. Disturbed, now known as Forsaken, had heard that the DCW was closing and wasted no time in snapping up his out-of-contract comrade HeadKase to join him in the AWA.

So begins a new chapter in HeadKase’s career…
