It is now the 21st century and Johnny Rotten may be dead or old but NOBODY CAN TELL ME WHAT TO DO. You might be the same queen the Ramones didn't like but WE HATE YOU AND PINK FLOYD BOTH. 	Well, we all know Jericho changed their name to Smoke or Fire. It's not that they are uncertain which periodic table element they enjoy more--that's their whole name, rife with indecision. Young punk: I like Smoke of Fire. Mother: Well, which is it? Contrast this scene with one from earlier, happier times. Young punk: I like Jericho. Mother: Yes, that certainly is my favorite biblical city as well. But now my mind hearkens back to Bob Marley's 1978 tune "She's Gone," in which he warns us, "You'll never see smoke without fire." Little did we know in '78 how right he was, or what the 80's would be like. Hindsight is 20/20, of course. Anyway, Smoke or Fire's new album, Above the City, comes out March 22nd.
