               Hell's Angels
This is a photo of the B-17 plane that Bill was the navigator for in WWII.  This remarkable crew executed 35 successful bombing missions over Germany. The name of the plane was "Henn's Revenge" attached to the 8th Air Force, 303rd Bomber Group.
Here is young navigator "Jonsey".  This photo is inside the B-17 Bomber where Bill is checking his instruments and maps.  After all, he has precious cargo: The Pilot, the crew and bombs for Adolph Hitler's Nazi Army!!!

Bill returned home to the USA after these missions before his 20th birthday.
