This game is based on events starting with Episode 1 and continuing past episode 6 (the books). The game is a hybrid of first person shooter and real time strategy genres. There will be 4 main factions (and a couple more from the books). These factions are The Republic, The Confederacy, The Rebellion, and The Empire. Each army will have its own unique traits and abilities of which players will be able to take advantage. Players create a character that advances through ranks as they play online earning new classes and customization options.
