The Mercs. answer to the secretly of defense in New Philly's government. The next in chain of command is the leader of the Mercenaries, Rick O'Brien, an 8th level Elven Special Forces Soldier. O'Brien over sees all actions that the mercs. take. He is also in charge of strategic placement of squadron. Next is Jonathan Kinkade, 6th level human CAF Fleet Officer, is in charge of Alpha Squadron. Nichole Allegra, 6th level Elven High Magus is the leader of Beta Squadron. Ben Parker, 4th level human CS Nautical Commando Specialist, heads the Gamma Squadron. Peter Reily, 5th level Noro Mystic Warrior, heads the Delta Squadron. And Michael Xavier, 4th level Azverkan Glitter Boy, leads Epsilon Squadron. Alpha Squad is the main fraction in the Mercs. Alpha Squad utilizes land and somewhat air combat. Beta Squad is the Magic force behind the Mercs. Gamma Squad is the Nautical division of the Mercs. They utilize sea combat. Delta Squad, although the smallest group, is the Psionics using squad. Lastly, Epsilon Squad, they utilize in air combat and Power Armor combat.
Alpha Squad is led by Jonathan Kinkade, a native to Phase World. Alpha Squad is known as the elite squad. It consists of 6 airmen and 60 footmen and 50 other men at arms OCC's. They range from level 1-5. Most are Special forces soldiers or super spies. There is also a friend of Kinkade that is second in command of Alpha squad, Avatar Galaxia, a 7th level Wolfen Quatoria. Jonathan and Avatar became best of friend while they were on a 1 year mission that led them Fort Blizzard and they stayed because of the offer that O'Brien had made them. Galaxia was to head of the Epsilon Squad but he refused say that he will chose to stay with his friend. This has not been a mistake for the Mercenaries because they have trained the members of there squadron to be tough individuals that can withstand all sorts of punishment.
Beta Squad is the led by Nichole Allegra, a native to Dweomer. She has led her squad to be recognized as a force not to be messed with. Allegra has trained a bit of the 100 or so mages that is under her command. 45% are ley line walkers, 15% Battle magus, 15% Lord Magus, 10% are High magus, 5% Mystics, 5% Techno-Wizards, and 5% are other magic OCC's. Allegra has learned a lot of magic and knowledge through her years of travel throughout the megaverse. Beta Squad is usually called upon to either capture, scare off or kill creatures of magic and supernatural creatures. While chasing down an entity, she had crossed into Alaska and was offered to Lead a group of mages, she first denied but then the group had captured the entity for her so she accepted the position with the Mercs.
Gamma Squadron is led by Ben Parker, an Ex- CS officer. He left the CS because he did not like the CS's propaganda and started to aid those who hated the CS. He has found himself to be a rather just leader of his squad and has not gotten them killed yet. He had 'borrowed' a CS gunboat and attacked a small base off of the eastern seaport when he was being chased by the CN. He had tried to work his way away from the CN before realizing he was in the Pacific ocean and was almost out of fuel so he had turned around and fired upon the 3 other CN Gun Boat. He knew he was out numbered when the I.C.E. Mercs. had fired upon and destroyed the CN gunboats that were firing at him. Once at Shore, he had signed on to Gamma Squad and quickly rose to the position of commander of the squadron. The Squadron consists of at least 150 seamen.
Delta Squad is led by Peter Reily, another native of Phase World. Delta squad is the smallest of the group. Delta Squad is a group of Psychic's. 10 of the 20 people are psi-warriors ranging from level 1-7. 3 are Mind-Melters and a handful are zappers. They are trying to make a name for them selves but has failed to succeed yet. But the Squad are being called on for more search and capture missions then before.
Epsilon Squad is led by Michael Xavier, an Azverkan. He had traveled the earth doing good where he went and found himself leading a group of Power Armor commandos into the Alaskan Dessert where they were attacked by a hoard of supernatural creatures and creatures of magic. They were saved by Beta Squadron and the air division of Alpha squad. They were offered a part of the Mercenary team and they agreed. They were then made up of two parts, a PA division and an Air Division. Both work closely together to better defeat the enemy, who or what every it might be. Epsilon consists of 50 RPA's and 25 Airmen.
There is also about 1000 Men and Women that are in what is left of the Governments Military forces. Most for which are air men or PA pilots. There is about 2000 support personal/Fort citizen that help the 500 or so Mercenaries in there missions. about a fourth of the support personal can fight if need be, but they mostly stay behind the lines to help the injured and such.
