SEPTEMBER 5, 2004 Well, in case you haven't heard, it is now official. Roy has officially quit the band. If you want more details, go to our guestbook link at the bottom of the screen, there's a full paragraph explaining why, written by Roy himself, as well as a genius review of the band by the rock guru known only as Camio. But who should replace the Rizzoy Roy? How about no one? That's right, get ready for the phenomenon that shall be known as the "Disruptive Trio?" Yes! Chris, Karl, and Roland. We are changing the style of our songwriting, concentrating more on writing music that more of you, the people, would enjoy, rather than writing music that I myself would enjoy, cuz hey, that's what's really important, right? But anyway, as for Roy, he's still our good friend, just like he was before his term in the band, and we wish him luck in his future adventures of punk rock antics and emo nights out. We will be taking a few months off to work on new material, finding our new sound, and really finding who we will be as a three piece. Those of you who saw us open for the Mad Caddies at the Executive Surf Club will have more of an idea as to what we will sound like, but still not quite. The songs we've been writing are different than anything we've done before, and we think that our fans will really like the direction we're taking. But I guess we won't know for sure until around December, when we plan to come back on the scene as a trio with a complete set of new songs. But until then, don't forget about us... - Chris |
