Mr. Shrish Pardeshi from Colgate Palmolive also attended the program and distributed the oral health materials to the children.

For the first time in the country, a new concept in school oral health care was introduced, in which, day scholar students keep their toothbrush and paste in the school, and as a part of school activity, brush their teeth after lunch or snack at school itself. Teachers are encouraged and trained to screen any early signs of diseases and perform oral health check routinely on students. It is believed that this kind of school programs will help in massive reduction of different dental diseases and bring about awareness to the children at an early age. The program will be followed up after six months and evaluated for its effectiveness and implemented in other areas also.
