Our Mission Statement:
We as friends, realize the importance
of helping others. We have come
together to provide a compassionate link for all. No matter who or what
we are, we all have the ability to share in the gift of Compassion For
Humanity. Our goal is to provide Mental, Physical, and Financial
assistance, either by us, or through the efforts of other
organizations. Utilizing stopgap measures in order to be successful
with—
“Helping others Help
Themselves”
Our goal is to assist families,
children, elderly, and either the
physically or mentally challenged residents of Saline County, Kansas.
We help those who fall through the cracks in our system, or are unable
to meet guidelines of most social service programs. All clients are
treated with courtesy and respect regardless of race, color, or gender.
Our organization will be providing many services, which will include a non-perishable food bank and a non-traditional food bank. This program will focus on paper products, cleaning supplies, and personal hygiene items. We will also assist residents of Saline County with utility deposits, as well as utility bills. We lend a hand to clients needing deposits for apartments and houses. A program to assist clients locating physicians, as well as, dentist who offer a sliding fee scale, so they can afford medical and dental care, which is so greatly needed. We also provide an advocate, for our clients to obtain legal advice.
