January 27, 2008 - Blog Closed

I decided to close the Blog. I received many emails this past week from individuals who had become the target of false and malicious posts in the Blog. In reviewing the IP address's of the individuals who had been making these types of posts it became clear that they were current members of CameronCollector.com and most were former members of the FOV section. Also, these same individuals were making posts pretending to look like anti TCC posters in an attempt to discredit certain individuals and other web sites.

The public perception that Vog and his FOV buddies want CameronCollector members to see is that they want to stay clear of the controversy they caused so they have taken the position to not discuss what happened, and is continuing to happen, in public posts. In reality, they are the ones "stirring the pot" behind the scene, and doing it anonymously, so that others look bad. This behavior is the typical behavior of this group of elite CameronCollectors.

January 14, 2008 - Spotlight Aaron Blunck

I received an interesting email yesterday from Aaron Blunck (TCC ID ablunck). Considering that he is one of the most prolific posters on the blog, I thought some of you might be interested to see what he has to say when he is posting on other sites.

In a post on CameronCollector.com (Click here: November 30, 2007, 01:53:34 PM) Mr. Blunck had this to say about the GeoCities site and the blog:

The people involved with setting up the geocities site are trying to mislead you all by showing you, the reader, only what they want you to see.
I live in a glass house, or one time I did. I have also made judgments in my own mind about a member/s based on what they have posted.
I don’t anymore, because I have learned a few things over the years, and even more in the past months.
Judge a man by all his actions, not just his words.
I would rather give a man the benefit of the doubt, and not be prejudice in any way. I would want others to treat me this way, so it’s the least I can do.

Read his posts in the blog (see the link below) and you tell me if what he posted in the above thread was just a load of crap. I am not Doug, Venno, Jeff, John, or any of the other people Mr. Blunck has been bashing on the blog. I am not involved in PutterTalk.com or CameronCollector.com other than I am a member of both sites. It is clear from Mr. Blunck's posts in the blog he is an educated person, that he knows right from wrong and he understands what is defamation. It is also clear that he has continually posted in the blog defamatory statements about past members of CameronCollector.com. This from a "man" that posted on CameronCollector.com that he no longer makes judgments on on a person by what they have posted and he wants you to judge a man by his actions. Where was the "benefit of the doubt" he preaches about when he was making defamatory statements about former CameronCollector.com members?

Here is the link to the the Aaron Blunck communications and what he has posted on the blog:

Here is a link to the CameronCollector.com introduction of Mr. Blunk:

You decide who is the real Mr. Blunck! The person who posts when you know who he is or the person who posts when he does not want others to know him. This is really typical of how people like Vog and his moderators and friends post when they think what they are posting is private. They make accusations that are unfounded, they use foul and obscene language, and are basically low life's. When you see Vog post in public that he wants people to PM him because he does not want to say something in public, you can count on what he is going to tell you is complete bull shit.

December 22, 2007: Copyright Infringement Notice

Read copies of the copyright infringement notice that Bill Vogeney, as the agent for The Cameron Collector,L.L.C., submitted to Yahoo, Inc. in an attempt to get this site shut down so that the comments that he and his moderators posted would be erased form the internet:
http://www.oocities.org/thecameroncollector/dmca_notice.htm

It is also interesting that in the notice of copyright infringement made by The Cameron Collector, L.L.C. (Bill Vogeney, agent) a claim of defamation is made and The Cameron Collector, L.L.C. (Bill Vogeney, agent) demands that Yahoo, Inc. is some how required pursuant to section 512(c) of the Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512(c) to remove alleged defamatory statements from the Geocities site. Here is the demand that was made:

"In addition to infringing upon my copyrights, the false statements of fact about me contained on the http://www.oocities.org/thecameroncollector web page are defamatory. Therefore, I demand that you immediately remove or disable access to the defamatory statements as well."

If you read the information that is posted on the Geocites pages it is clear to see that the defamatory statements were actually made by Bill Vogeney and his moderators. Of course he wants these defamatory statements removed, just like he removed them from his site, cameroncollector.com. He is worried that the general members that he and his moderators were defaming may decide to take action against him for allowing and contributing to such defamatory statements. If he can somehow make all copies of these defamatory statements disappear, maybe he will avoid future problems.

Mr. Vogeney, you can not un-ring a bell. Also, you can not claim to own a copyright on posts made by others just because said posts were made on an open public internet forum on which you maintain.

December 25, 2007: Copyright Infringement Counter Notice

Read copies of the copyright infringement counter notice that was submitted to Yahoo by me in an attempt to keep this site from being shut down so that the comments that he and his moderators posted would not be erased form the internet:
