The Brown Family

Hello Again!

It has almost been a year since I updated our website last.  A lot has happened and changed in our lives.  I wasn't very good at keeping up this website because I had started doing one for my dad's family and couldn't keep up with both.  I have decided to give it another shot, so we'll see how I do this time.

For those of you who have not heard we had a boy for our second child.  Brayden Knecht Brown was born on May 12, 2004.  He was 8 lbs. 2.7 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long.  He was born with a head full of dark hair.  He is now 8 months old and on the verge of crawling.  He started by scotting backwards, then when he realized that there were more interesting things in front of him he transitioned into a sort of "army crawl" thing.  Every once in a while he gets on his hands and toes and arches his bum clear up in the air and then just sits there.  Just in the last couple of day he has started moving his knees but no actual crawling yet.  Lance caught me crying today when I pulled out the video camera to get Brayden's "army crawl".  He asked me why I was crying and I said that I couldn't believe that my little boy is growing up so fast.   Time just flies.  Brayden loves to watch everything and anything, especially his older brother.  He is very aware of ALL that is going on around him.

Conner is now a little over 2 1/2.  He is talking so much.  He is counting already, can you believe it?  Lance can get him to count to 10 all by himself.  He is also very good with his colors.  He loves purple.   He loves his little brother and is very protective of him. Brayden is HIS baby.  I am hoping to have some good pictures of both Conner and Brayden on here soon.  I just have to find them.  Which leads me to our other bit of news...

The last time I wrote I mentioned that we had put our house up for sell.  We sold it around the end of March and closed on the sell around the end of May.  At that time our intentions were to get into something bigger, but we soon found out that Heavenly Father had another path that he wanted us to take.  We realized that it was time for Lance to go to college.  He attended his first semester at Weber State University and just this month transfered to Utah State University up in Logan.  We just moved up here into an apartment last weekend.  He is going to get his degree in Civil Engineering.  I am very excited for him and for this next chapter in our lives.

Stay tuned for pictures.  I have taken quite a few good ones.  They are just on CD somewhere in our boxes.  When I find them I will put some on here.
