The Bringers have had a seven year career as one of Phoenix Arizona’s premiere Celtic/World folk bands. Performing in venues ranging from bars/pubs to street fairs to concert halls with their unique blend of instruments and musical styles from around the world. The Bringers have also enjoyed success and acclaim at Renaissance Festivals including the Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota and North Carolina Renaissance Festivals.

In July of 2002, The Bringers went on an extended hiatus to pursue outside interests. Since then they have reunited a handful of times to play specific gigs, but given the success of their subsequent projects, a full-time reformation seems doubtful.

“Ramblers & Rovers” was the second (and to date final) studio recording. It was recorded in early 2002 and released (again to kind reviews) in Mid-2003. The album focuses on ‘Ren Faire’ music and was a collaboration of The Bringers and some of their close friends from the national Renaissance Festival circuit. The distinct difference between this and their first album is that “Ramblers & Rovers” is entirely acoustic. At the time “Ramblers & Rovers” was recorded The Bringers were working full time as renaissance festival performers.
The bands line up at the time consisted of:

Anita the Gypsy (Michi Regier): Fiddles & Voice
Dingo the Didgeridude (Byron Miller): Didgeridoos & Voice

The Puckerbrush Players (Allen & Joyce Switzer): Hammered Dulcimers
