3/1/07 ex-Lover Update: Rhys left Oz, May 05 for Europe, he survived London's bombs(late for a train) & produced Brixton hip-hop. Back in NZ, he commandeered an old movie theatre & Gerda Blank are gigging once more.....Sherab & Tim went in late '05 to live in BrisVegas, beautiful one day etc...Tim is studying composition with a Master.... Del Davidson is still alive with Dead Brothers in Bern. The band star in a recent film....Mike Noga left Aug 05 for Europe with The Drones to tour & tour, came back to Oz to, um...tour, record & release a new Drones LP, then a Euro/USA tour. Now back in Oz, but for how long?....

Past Masters

Mike Noga -- played Drums for BrassBed from 2002-4 (also played with Legends of Motorsport, Sandro, Joel Silbersher's Ancient Meat, Stu & The Celestials, and now with The Drones, Mick Turner & solo as M.Charles). His debut album came out mid-2005.

Tatiana Pajo -- played trombone for BrassBed until 2002, starting with us at the beginning in 1997. TP also sang, danced, made good tea & was the theatrical keystone of the band for so long (also played with Rapunzel Gets Down, Spindrift and the TeaBags).

Cam McAllister -- played trumpet for BrassBed 2000-01 (also with Boh Jass, Cam McAllister Quartet, Strange Airs & other jazz/funk units around Melbourne. Was last seen on The Love Boat in the ship's band..).

Brian May(aka BeamUp)-- played trumpet for the 'Bed 97-99(also with High Pass Filter, Circushead, Breather Hole).

Adam Nash -- played drums with the 'Bed 00-01.

Sonke Rickertson (aka Ziggy W Rock) -- played drums/cello with the 'Bed 01-02(also with Once Upon A Time, Black Cabinet, Mimi Bordeaux, Pink Stainless Tail).

Tom Carlyon -- (Luxedo, The Devastations)---Appears on piano in the song "Nitespot" on the "Save Your Breath" LP. Played bass for the 'Bed in '99 at a live film event at the Sun Theatre, Yarraville. This gig was captured on tape and released as part of the "Resonances-Live Film Muzak" CD. Also guest guitar at some gigs 99-2001(including the 'Bed's CD launch).

Emilie Martin -- (Luxedo, Slow Town Trio)---Appears on the song "Irony" as part of the choir ("the Irony Maidens") on the "Save Your Breath" LP. Also appears on the Stu Thomas solo EP "Resonance", singing on the song of the same name.

Anna Burley -- ( Killjoys , Red Lantern)---Appears on the song "Irony" as part of the choir ("the Irony Maidens") on the "Save Your Breath" LP. Also sang with Stu T as a duo thru'out 2003 & sings on the Stu Thomas solo song "Treble and Bass", which appears on the "Resonance" EP and the "Devil & Daughter" LP (Audrey Records). Sang live at the 'Bed's CDLP launch in 2001.

Dave Evans -- (The Band Who Knew Too Much)---Appears on the song "Schoolyard Bully" playing accordian on the "Save Your Breath" LP. Played at the 'Bed's CDLP launch in 2001

Astrid Munday -- Appears on the song "Irony" as part of the choir ("the Irony Maidens") on the "Save Your Breath" LP.

Victory Day -- Appears on the song "Irony" as part of the choir ("the Irony Maidens") on the "Save Your Breath" LP. Sang at the 'Bed's CDLP launch in 2001.
