For in one week towards the end of October both the tuesday nights at Blitz and the Thursday and Saturdays scene at Hell ceased to exist as centres of sartorial elegance and dance music experimentation.

As for the London scene, this has now transported itself quietly to Hell, deeper into Covent Garden, a move back underground to a small nightspot away from the gaze of a world alerted to a scene which, resisting a label, has found itself ludicrously dubbed "Blitz Kids"
Directed by Egan, Strange and Chris Sullivan, one of the minds behind St. Moritz, the music policy at Hell gives turntabel space to Rockability and Salsa as Puerto Rican styles and stances creep slowly into vogue
