The Blank Verse
Mission: The Blank Verse exists to provide talented yet undiscovered poets a chance to show why they deserve to be considered among the elite poetry writers in America and to give you, the viewers, a chance to submit poems (in the blank verse format) in order to be recognized, printed, and even critiqued positively if you so desire.  No one at the blank verse will ever make a negative comment about your poetry, for poetry is of the soul, and who can regulate the soul?  Not us, that's for sure.  It's like we always say, "The pen is mightier than the sword, and considerably easier to write with."

The site prominently displays poems by:
Father Jake Hambino
Shawn Heuver
POEM OF THE WEEK
B. James Rettler
DJ Martino
E Allen Kelly
All poems are copywritten and are the exclusive property of the authors, being original ideas coming from said authors' own minds, and are to be shared only when cited and credit given to said authors.

***We at the blank verse want to offer you the opportunity to write poetry that you know will be looked at positively and without criticism.  You can e-mail us at theblankverse@yahoo.com if you have a poem(s) that you would like to be published on The Blank Verse.  Of course, credit will be given, or poets can remain anonymous.  Or give us feedback.  Whatever you desire.

Hey,
Just a friendly reminder to all who forget from time to time, or have never had the liberty to know....
Jesus Loves YOU
Cite Solei
by Shawn

Jesus I know you love them all,
but can't you just give them some
Cause here i sit with all my things
Sad and torn within,
For in Haiti my family can't help but starve
When i just run and play.
I listen to wonder on what i can do
But right now i'm content to pray
