It is and remains my greatest honor to lead such men and women as are members of The Black Watch.

Tthe Watch is getting stronger. We now have three elected leaders to help run the guild. I believe this is a great step in the right direction. Our guild has a new rank for level 50's that have gained 10k realm points and achieved a 500 in a craft skill or have achieved 125k realmsl. Watch Colonels may claim, release, and upgrade frontier keeps. I would like to note that as I have observed other guilds, The Black Watch has the best system for promotion I have seen or heard about. One person told me people get promoted when the GM thinks they deserve it. LOL! In the Watch you get promoted when you have met the challenges and have earned it. It is my greatest pleasure to promote a member to the Watch. The first thing I do when I log on is /gc who and see who I can promote.

Who belongs in the Watch? A question I have been forced to think about recently. Not all people have the personality we require. Note the word require. Let me try to express this idea in words without falling all over the keyboard. In short, we are brothers and sisters. As such its perfectly ok to have arguements and even be upset with each other at times. Like brothers and sisters, however, you are expected to forgive and move on from bitter feelings. If you can't do this, you do not belong in the Watch. We all expect devotion, fellowship, friendship, and hopefully a degree of compassion. You need to be able to have issues and leave them behind you. Watchmen and Watchwomen need to be able to count on you when the time comes and personal bitterness is not allowed. Another important requirement for a member of the Watch is independence. Recently someone demanded we power level them or they would quit. Well I say, "Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out!" We have no requirements that higher levels give money or time to lower levels. We all do it constantly not because of requirements, but because we care for one another. I have heard many 50's say, "I love helping guildies." Not one the 50's likes having someone demand it of them. If you can't take care of your seft, what good will you be to us as an organization. Now some might say that sounds cold. Not at all. This last week I saw Caric while working on his 50 level include every Watch member he saw in his groups. He could have leveled faster with people his own level, but he cares about his guild mates. I applaud him, Blacklock, Maganda, Tahnok, Dedrid, Aradesh (and bots) on including guildies at every opportunity. Meadrose has been giving money out in amounts that would make most people dizzy (LOL), but it has helped the guild and he is glad to do it. We believe in helping each other. We believe it strongly, but if you are to be a strong member of the Watch, you need to be able to stand on your on two feet. So if you need some one to hold your hand, you do not belong in the Watch. We want strong minded men and women of all ages that are independent, caring, giving and forgiving. We want people that will add to our since of family and fellowship. We want people that won't demand help but will be grateful for it and in turn will be glad to give of their own choice when the day comes. We want people that will make us stronger in Arms and in our Souls. If you are someone like this, we have a home for you.

I am going to ask a boon of all members. We have a larger number of higher level members now. I am asking you to meet a small challegne. All 45+ member should try to earn 5000 realm points each week. I know this is very challenging for those below 50, but try. I would like to see us making 250,000 + realm points each week. Maedrose has been trying to make 10,000 a week. I know others do more. So the goal is 5000 per week for all 45+ players. Now, I dont want to leave out the 30+ players either, if you are involved in Battle Ground 3, please try to make 500 realm points per week. If you are involved in frontier rvr actions aim for 1000. All members below 30 should level as fast as you can. RVR require practice to get good at it and there is no time like the present. Watch men and women, there is ass to be kicked. Go forth and apply your shoe to the nearest Hib or Mid butt you can find. Good luck.

We are steadily climbing up in realm points. Recently, we broke into the top 25 list of total realm points earned. Let's continue this good work. I would like to recognize Adrib and Byam for the points they have been earning. They have earned about 25,000+ each week each for at leasts 4 weeks. Dedrid, Minnamar, Bakbiter, and Galeimar have added 10,000+ this past week. Also I would like to say it's very good to see so many Watch members responding to our Kingdom's call for defense. From Hong Kong, Toffeeson has been working hard to keep us in the game when many of us on the main land are asleep. We are made stronger by our indivdual efforts. I encourage you to kill someone you loathe. Send that message that says "lay there and bleed." Dance over their lifeless bodies and bow before you run off to slaughter some other deservering devaint that choose not to serve Albion. LOL.

Remember, a dead Hibernian is a good Hibernian and a Midgardian is only really happy when laying face down in a pool of his own blood. So get on board, kill the enemy with relish, gusto, and ferver. Go Team Go!
