Love Forever |
Love Forever Close by the door the boy stopped to stand As he held a class ring tightly in his hand All who were watching could not speak As a silent tear rolled down his cheek In his mind all he could see was, Her beautiful face in a cool summers' breeze. He understood that two must be free, I guess that's why she freed me. Her eyes of blue had grown so cold, She's there no more for his arms to hold. Before she leaves he'll give her his ring, For after she's gone he'll have not a thing They watched with awe as he grew near, And whispered "I Love You" for her to hear He placed the ring upon her finger with a kiss, And said, "Goodbye" to the girl he would miss. The door opened and the wind began to blow, As they carried her casket into the snow. |
