| We are currenlty seeking new artists. Drop us a line if you can't help but drop the verse. ESHEY This Bronx, NY resident is a serious writer coupled with the soul of a lighthearted comedian. Functioning for over 25 yrs as a Social Worker & Harlem Community Center Dir., she remains grounded by the written word because poetry gives Eshey “a reason to get excited each and every day.” Hot poems like Eshey's 'Bad Gurls' give others a reason. Her own excitement for the written word began when she herself was a child. Her poem, The Telling of My Dreams was written for her son Phillip who passed (Dec.2002) and continues to inspire her while living in her heart and dreams. Performing in SSW productions like COLLIDING WORLDS III, IT AIN'T OVER YET & HIR. Look to see more of Eshey soon. NATHAN P. A motivational speaker and talented “Word Smith” that has appeared at venues from Boston to New Jersey. COLLIDING WORLDS, COLLIDING WORLDS II, & TONITE I'LL COOK are SSW productions lucky to feature Nathan P. COLLIDING WORLDS III (2/7/03) was his 7th poetic play and many more are pending. In addition to enjoying the live work of this Nuyorican Poets Café Grand Slam Championship Finalist (& Wed. Host), admirers can also pick up copies of his poetic novellas “Madness” & “The Colors of My Mind” or his new CD “Chalklines On Black Asphalt.” (Release date 7/30/05) CAT The 4th Uni-Verse of Colliding Worlds (both showings) were Cat's first 2 major poetry performances. This mother of 5 knocked audiences off their feet with her hard hitting soft spoken poems at both shows. She did it again in our production of HIR Voices, Minds & Souls (a Womyn's Hirstory Month Show). Cat is a NYS resident who has been writing for years (moved to Florida in April 2005) and only recently found her poetic performance voice.
