and 1 1/2 teaspoons of borax. Add 5 drops of lavender and 5 drops of
orange essential oils and mix well. Pour the mixture into the bath

orange essential oil with Roman chamomile, sandalwood or patchouli.

Lavender Getaway Bath

For a soothing winter bath, put 2 tablespoons of lavender  buds (Lavandula angustifolia) and 2 tablespoons of finely  ground oatmeal into a small muslin bag or a piece of cloth.
Secure tightly with a string or rubber band. Tie the bundle with the string or a piece of ribbon so that it under the spigot of your bathtub. Once the bath is full, try rubbing  the bundle gently over your skin. Both the lavender and the oatmeal will work to soothe dry skin and calm frazzled nerves as  well.
Headache Relief Herbal Bath

4 Tablespoons Dried Lavender
4 Tablespoons Dried Lemon Balm
2 Tablespoons Dried Peppermint

Steep herbs for about 20 minutes in water that has been brought to a
boil. (Do not boil herbs because they will lose their volatile oils
and much of their healing qualities.) Strain herbs before you add to
bath water. The nice thing about infusions is that you can make them
ahead of time and use when you wish. They are usually good for at
least 5 days. If you don't have time to make an infusion, just put
the herbs in a muslin bag or bath ball and throw in the tub with you

Oatmeal-Salt Bath

The oatmeal makes the water look murky, but it feels wonderful.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup powdered oatmeal
1/4 cup sea salt
1/4 cup epsom salt
1/4 cup baking soda
10 drops sandalwood essential (or fragrance) oil
7-8 drops ylang ylang essential (or fragrance) oil
7-8 drops tangerine essential oil
Instructions:

Combine all dry ingredients in a food processor and pulse. To keep
from getting the essential/fragrance oils in my food processor, I
transfer approx. 1/2 cup or so of the dry ingredients to a zip lock
bag. Add the oils to the bag, seal it, and shake well to incorporate
the oils into the dry ingredients and break up any clumps. Once it is
well mixed, add the rest of the dry ingredient mixture to the bag and
shake some more until it is well mixed.
Store in an air tight container. (Could leave in the sealed bag if
you plan on using it in the near future.) Use approx. 1/4 - 2/3 cup per bath
