The Bauhaus is regarded to have been one of the most influential and inspiring arts and crafts movements of all time. Throughout its many years, the Bauhaus grew to become a well known and respectable school.

It did however, like many other schools during that period, encounter several problems. The Nazi Government and World War II were the main problems.

The Bauhaus was initially run by Walter Gropius who was a well known architect in Germany.
