THE BASTARDS ROCK AND FUCKING ROLL This is The Bastard's Hompage. The Bastards are a band from New Paltz. It was formed during the spring semester of 2003. Mino Acid 1/20/05 Greetings! We hope to see everyone at the show tonight because it's going to kick some major ass! We're excited to play again; It has been awhile. I just uploaded the lyrics to two new-kick-ass songs: "My Needs" and "Why try?". Go check them out! 1/18/05 18 days into the new year already. This year is fucking flying! The Bastards have a lot of hopes for the new year and are going to put more time into getting shows. Speaking of shows, Our first show in 2005 is this friday! We're really excited to play again! We hope to see our friends and new people there! (go to concert page for more information about the show!) 12/01/04 Where are the Bastards? That's a good question. The bastards have been getting raped by school in the last month. Ryan wrote a song about it "Raped in the ass by school is not as nice as getting raped in the ass by guys." Hopefully we'll be able to work on Ryan's first attempt of writing a song, soon. 11/06/04 Listen...Just shut up and listen for one second. I know everyone checks this site every hour...so here is the news- we got a show in NYC tonight! I expect everyone to be there...listen...it's not funny... 11/04/04 We had a good time at connections. We met some good guys and saw some good music. Played with Fang (tight street punk rock), and Sammytown Jones- good mean rock and roll. Our next show is going to be a big one- it is at Snugs. It's on november 12th, a friday night with our boys Trouble Bound and The Tombstone Brawlers (psychobilly band). We're really looking forward to this show because it will be the first time we've played snugs this year! 10/30/04 The Bastards had a great time and a solid show at cabs wednesday night. We're looking forward to our next show at connections- nov 3ard..and then we're playing snugs on the 12th! which will be an awesome show! Hope we see everyone soon! 10/27/04 Tonight baby is going to rock the house! We're really excited to play and rock out! I just finished writing 4 songs and posted them up. I'm pretty proud of all of them and can't wait to play them some day in the distance future. We hope to see a lot of our friends there and we hope a lot of people come out! It is a going to be a rocking and rolling good time and we want people singing and dancing with us! 10/15/04 We got a show this saturday that is going to literally be the best thing ever- it's the rock the vote show at cabs--everyone better come out and have a good time. Also we got another show at cabs wednesday the 27th. We have one show in november- november 3ard at Connections down in NJ- so maybe if anyone is feeling like a ride - they should come down there with us! Thanks to every one that came out friday and saturday- we were really glad to see everybody there! The shows were so much fun due to everybody coming out. We don't have any shows in the near future lined up--our next show at the moment is november 3ard at connections. That is going to be a sick show. We also have buttons for sale now as well as sex with the band members. Hopefully we'll get to see everybody soon!! 9/16/04 We got a show this saturday at Punk/Hardcore Night at Caballosas! So everyone should go!!! I'm not sure of the details yet, i'm sure it starts after 8:00- hope to see everyone there! 9/07/04 Our show in the city was probably the best show we've ever played. The levels were awesome and it felt really amazing to have our friends come all the way down to the city to see us--it made the show. I've been...as always writing new songs and have 3 more in the works... Now this sucks because we can't learn half of the songs i've written and they fucking rock...i don't know what to do about that. We're also going to start working on a new cover--so keep your ears open. Our next show is September 24th at Club Ny with troublebound and armeditle rifles! It's going to be an awesome show with good company/friends. See you there!!! 8/12/04 Uploaded a new song. It's called "Jimmy's Sorrow." Check it out at the lyrics page if anyone is interested. 8/11/04 Hey Bastardetts. The Bastards last practice went awesome. We started to work on the new songs and they sound fucking "amazing." The Bastards have three shows lined up! We're also making our NYC Debut!! It's a free show and we really want a lot of people to come out if they can!!! Alright go to the concernts page for more information. 8/07/04 The Bastards practiced for the first time in like a month and we sounded...good? I don't know how but we were pretty damm tight and the music sounded great. We're going to practice today- we're working on some new songs- Christine, and Leaning on Alina and probably start working on Fuck you Forever or My Soul. Stay tuned because the new songs fucking rock!!!!...and...ROLL!!! 7/28/04 Even though the Bastards may not be playing--i'm always still writing. I just completed two more songs and I posted the lyrics up. The songs are called "Changes" and "My Tone 2." On our first album, "My Tone" was the last song and it was me reflecting on my current life and feelings towards life--"My Tone 2", which will probably be the last song our second album is the same deal. When i finish the other two songs that are almost done, i'll post those lyrics up too. Stay in touch and everyone take care of themselves for me----Chris. 7/05/04 Hello there Bastaretts. Long time, no update. The past two shows we've played have been really fun. We were glad to play the benefit and help out for a good cause. I hope a lot of money was raised. Stay in touch! 6/14/04 The Bastards had a fun time rocking out at the Sunday show even though there were not to many people there. We thank scottie for giving us a show and hopefully we'll play with his band again soon. Hope everyone comes out on the 23ard at the mohonk house show!! 6/12/04 We got a show booked at The Mohonk house next wednesday and we're really excited and happy about it. June 13th we're playing at Club Ny with the Black Romeos, Armed Suspects, Dead Hearts, and The Challenged and there is a huge benefit show the 27th with -The Shrubs, Severed Ties, Fidjits, Armed Suspects, Sammytown Jones,Blood Stained Kings, Black Romeos, Troublebound, Tombstone Brawlers, Johnny Thursday & The Friday Knights, Armedalite Rifles, Shock Nagasaki, and..THE BELTONES!!! We want to thank all our friends for coming out--it was really awesome to see everybody and everyone made it worth it to play. Our last time playing for this semester is this Saturday at Snugs!!! Everyone's gotta come out--schools out forever! 4/29/04 The Bastard's first road trip was a success! We had a great time in N.J and meet a lot of cool people and saw some good bands. One band being Void Control-you can find their link at the links page. Our set got cut a little short because some band that wasn't suppose to play (showed up and played-and sucked)? It didn't matter- we played our rock and fucking roll and had a goodtime and it was definitely worth the trip. 4/26/04 Hey- we have some shows that i've been meaning to add to the concerts page. We're playing at Snug's on May 15th! I believe we're playing at Oasis on May 7th, and maybe we're playing in front of Hasbrouck for the BBQ on May 5th (that one is very uncertain and probably won't happen haha). Either way- go to every one of those shows or die. 4/25/04 What a fucking great show, haha! Who says punk and rock and roll are dead! The Bastards fucking rocked out hardcore last night at a house party and want to thank everyone there for coming out! We played every god damm song we knew and Brett was playing some new songs he wrote during some of our songs at the same time- haha. What a great time and glad everyone showed up! We got a important show in N.J this wednesday and hope a couple of people come down with us- get in touch if you're interested or have a car! Also like always i've been writing songs- and we've been practicing new songs. Some new songs we played last night were "All you Need," "I can't relate" and "I mean nothing to you." Hope everyone likes the new songs and we're definitely growing as a band. We've started to practice "Car named Sue" and "Leaning on Alina." Should be able to hear those soon. Also i've written two new songs- "Death Wish" and "Fuck you Forever" which i'm really excited about but are going to be awhile before we play them live. A lot of good shit on the way! 4/19/04 Show was a lot of fun!!!! Bastards had one of the best times playing and had some good improvization going on. We're going to be playing at Snugs open-mic night this tuesday so we hope everyone comes out! 4/16/04 Due to idiots- we're not playing at Cabaloosa's this Friday! It's going to be an awesome time. This friday we hope to see everyone come out for some rock and fucking roll. Also some shows in May are being worked out that we're really excited about. 4/11/04 The show was an awesome time! The other bands were great and it was a really good show. We played some major rock and roll and so did the other bands. We're really excited!!! First show is April 6th in Manhattan at Club Rare, 2nd show is April 10th at Caballosa's with JT and FK, 3ard is again at Caballosa's on April 16th with Hellride 66, and Trial and Error. It took awhile but they're all there. Had some technical difficulties but either was was a great time and thanks to all the people who came out. 3/2/04 Bastards are playing tonight! We're planning on putting on our best show yet and also going to play a new tune for everything- Ashes on his Hotrod. Everyone should come out and have a good time! 2/28/04 Uploaded some pictures from playing at Snugs on the 24th. The day i tried to sing/play sick- learned our lesson there. We're planning on playing at open mic at snugs tonight and pretty much plan to fucking rock the place to hell. So if you want to weep at the power of the Bastards you're welcome to come out. Muhaha. 2/7/04 The Bastards have found their drummer! WOHOO. We played with a friend named Ryan and it was an awesome/good time and all of us are excited about the different sound Ryan brings to the table of Rock and Roll. We're really excited to start playing again and we have a better then good start with breaking in the new drummer. 2/1/04 The Bastards are anxious to find a new drummer.
