2008Leslie Wolos began acting at the age of 9 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Her first major role came in 1995 when she was cast to star as a kid from a down-on-their-luck family in the independent film The Welfare King. Leslie later shot several episodes of the TV series Shirley Holmes, starred in a music video for Vancouver musician Jennifer Gasoi, and lent her voice to several CBC radio plays. She also produced a documentary for, and hosted, an episode of CBC radio's "OutFront" and modeled for the store Warehouse One. Leslie has had roles in several other independent and student films as well as many theatre productions. She also plays the piano and performed for several years as a member of the band Midnight's Edge. shirley holmes: the case of the cryptic creature (1997)

Leslie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UBC and recently completed a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Education where she focused on issues surrounding children, health, and the media. In the fall of 2009, Leslie will begin studying medicine. Leslie married in 2007 and resides in Vancouver, B.C. with her husband.
