Welcome you have stumbled on the site of the Sisters of the Silver Moon---formally The Witches Guild.   We are located in Southwestern Indiana, where it seems pagans are few and far between.  I am building this site in hopes of being a ray of light and hope to other pagan and/or wiccans who might be feeling isolated .

Who We Are:
We are parents who love are children above all else.
We are people who have a deep reverance for the nature.
We are seekers of knowledge and never do we assume we know all.
We are teachers of what we do know and have experience with.
We are a Womyn's Circle.  (Now this is a new one for us, but due to the past years events, we have changed.)
We are family!!!

Our circle is family based.  All Sabbats include out children. We play games, do crafts and have feasts.  We welcome children to our Esabts so long as the parent keeps a close eye on them. On Esbats we sneak away and worship under the Full Moon as much as seasonally possible.  We do our "work" and our worship.  Our chosen dieties vary usually with the time of the year even though many of us has a patron Goddess and God. Perhaps in the future, with more growth, we will have a childrens circle.  On occasion we might hold a formal circle for the children to teach them, but as a whole circles are adult business.  We do believe we must past the torch to the next generation, and it is our duty to teach them to respect our Lord and Lady and all of Earth's Creation.  We play games, do crafts, have feasts and tell stories.   We also learn by doing and sharing the responsiblity of the duties that need to be accomplished.  This allows for many "different" flavors to show through., and gives a feeling of freedom for all.  So far we have been blessed with a wonderful, caring, and supportive group of women.  The Goddess surely has us in her gaze.
