" Sticks and stones will break your bones but words will never hurt you."

" Don't call your brother names, it hurts his feelings!"

How many people have heard this over thier years. Parents make you think for years that words are just things that you hear and they can't hurt you. But when you start to use those words in a way that is making fun of people they suddenly become dangerous. Parents and anyone else that say this are all hypocrites. Thay say one thing and mean another. Why do parents feel that they need to protect us from everything? I live in a little town of 123 poople including their pets and dead relatives, and my dad still thinks he needs to lock the doors at night; we know ever person in the town. Who the hell would break into our house anyway, we're poor, we don't have nice things, the burgler would probably have nicer thing than we have. He probably would be better off to leave stuff for us and come back for it, so ho could tell all of his burgler friends the nice haul he got.

I'm 19 years old, and how many times a day do you think that my father tells me that if i say something like that again I might regret it later? A lot. He tells me that swearing will make me loose my job. There fucking words, my boss sweras more than I do! And I'm gunna lose my job? Not bloodie likly. He'll give me a big long speach about how my poor choice of words will make me look stupid to other people. I only speak the way I fell is necessary to the situation. If i need to make fun of a person, or blame something on the hippies, then I will, I don't care. If i think that the words I'm using are relevent and warented for the tpic I'll use them, if I'm blunt and say flat out that something is unbeliveably stupid or wrong I don't care because thats my opinion.
