- Update on
HALOGEN name change - As most of you will (or should) know that HALOGEN we having to change their name as too many people were using that name across the world.  The NEW name is ANEIKI!  Here is what Jen had to say about it on their message board [www.aneiki.com]

"I thought I'd better get on and explain a bit about our new name - Aneiki. We had a lot of trouble in securing a name that we could use. We all loved Halogen but there was way too many people using that name, both within Australia and internationally. The idea with ANEIKI was to create something that we could give meaning to and create an image for (like a brand name). It actually turns out that it's pretty close to the Japanese word "Aneki" which is slang for big sister. With the extra "i" it doesn't really mean anything although broken in to two parts it can have the meaning... "ane" is big sister and "iki" is life force energy. So maybe it's like Japanese girl power..haha! (Grant hates it when I say that!)Really, we just wanted something that was OURS!! By the way we pronounce it "AH-nee-kee". Thanks so much for all your patience and support...

Bye,jen "
