the torn realms

I have been having these weird thoughts lately.
Like are they for real…?
Or not…?

Albeit it sounds peaceful,
It may be,
That this world the door has enclosure,
Engulfs in idol hands to the Devil’s Playground…

Now, I feel that the world has changed
I can feel it in the water
I can feel it in the earth
I can smell it in the air
Much that once was… is lost,
And for one now live, the remembrance.

It began with the forging of the great elements.
Water was given to the elves, immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings.
Earth was given to the dwarf lords, great miners and craftsmen of the mountain holds.
Fire was given to the wizards, most magical and strong.
And Air was given to the race of men, who above all else desired power.

For within these elements was the strength to govern each race.
But they were all of them deceived.
For another element was made…

In the land of Mordor, in the fires of Mt. Doon.
The dark Lord Azhaken forged in secret, a master element.
To control all others.
And in this element,
He poured his cruelty,
His malice.
And his will to dominate all life.

One by one, the three lands of Middle Earth fell to the power of the element.
But there were some of them who resisted.

War soon struck Middle Earth,
And on the Slopes of Mt. Doon.
They fought for the freedom.
Victory was near, but the power of the element could not be undone.

It was in this moment when all hope had faded.
And Roul, son of the King took his fathers sword…
And in one vigorous swipe,
The great Azhaken was defeated.

And the element passed to Roul…
However, he was easily corrupted.
It betrayed Roul to his death.
And some things that should not have been forgotten were lost.
History became legend.
And legend became myth.

And for two and a half thousand years… the element passed out of all knowledge.
I myself would open the door…
But I am taking great precautions.
Although I feel as if the Barrier is stone dead.

I may not be here,
But the element must be destroyed.
Therefore, it is not yet clean,
And for it became… the remembrance of the Torn Realms of Middle Earth.
