... not the city, not the truck, but the rock band from San Diego - hot stuff in the '70's!

Tacoma came to be in 1971 as a sort of merger of two groups, "The Generations" and "Trilogy,"
and lasted until 1981. That much seems undisputed.
Although there have actually been nine official members of the band,
almost everyone means the original four members when they refer to TACOMA:
John Brown (JB), Doug Latislaw (Lasoo), Wayne Newitt, and Greg Youtsey (The Yil).

I hope that everyone who was ever involved with the band in any way will eventually contribute something
to this "scrapbook" of recollections - facts, biographies, anecdotes, or pictures. It's all for fun, anyway...

Because the band was formed more than thirty years ago and broke up twenty years ago,
everyone's recollections may not match up... but Wayne sez that's where all the fun in this is!
