Welcome to Arcadia Lost, the equine paradise.
We specialize in horses and horsemanship, as well as offering the greatest variety of equestrian to each horse and rider. Here’s what we offer:
In Board:
Our strongest offer is boarding, maintaining 75 box stalls to lease. Out stalls are broken into three rows that surround the heated/air conditioned flat-work and jumping indoor rings. Also to be considered, 34 acres of fenced pasture, 4 outdoor riding rings (3 green), and 86 acres of trail grounds. We have also recently built our cross-country course, which circles the property and parts half of the wood.

Horses are rubber matted and bedded in FlaxSorb, the new bedding made of ground flax hulls that is virtually dust free and 7x more absorbent that straw and 12x more absorbent than shavings. The footing to our indoor flat-work ring is grated rubber, and our Jumping ring composed of a light sand and ash.

Each row of stalls (approx. 25 boxes) includes one 12 horse wash bay, two heated tack rooms, and entrance to the indoor rings. Floors are raked concrete, with 15 rubber matted off-set cross ties to avoid isle traffic.

In Training:
Though our trainers army be small, it is highly efficient. Lessons reserve half the ring, and run from noon to six weekdays and nine to two weekends. Lessons can be taken on school horses, or on your own for a lesser price.

We currently offer training in these divisions:
- Hunter/Ground Equitation
- Saddleseat Equitation
- Western Pleasure
- Level 1 through 3 Dressage
- Reining
- Over Fences
- Stadium Jumping
- Cross Country Jumping

Training is also available to the horse in similar divisions. The work reserves private hours with the trainer to work one on one with the animal, and a weekly class with the horse and its rider to inform and teach the handler what is being done and how to improve it.

In Breeding:
Our current top producer is the warmblood stallion, Struth. This charming young horse is out of the show jumping mare, Ratina Z, who was a silver medallist in the 1992 Olympics, won 1993 World Cup, and was 1997 European Champion. The dressage master, Rembrant, sired this stallion. Rembrant was the 1988 and 1992 Olympic team and individual gold medallist.
