I have always been intrested in Computer Proggraming and thought to be pretty good at it. I never had an opportunity to really test my skilrls in programing till my freshman year in high school. A couple of friend and me decided to join an FIU Programming Competitiont that is hosted every year. different schools bring there best programmers and compete to become "numbe one". Since it was my first year coming to this sort of events, I really didn't know what to expect. I wanted to see if my skills in programming were as good as i thought they were. The goal in this competition was to create a variety of programs that would do different tasks. The competition and began and my friend and I began programming, as look through the form that explained to us what the program needed to do, we laughed. It wasn't what we expected, it seemed if the programs we needed to compute were given to 1st graders. We finish one after the other one, we looked around and saw student just like us struggling to complete it. It was quite simple to see who had finish in first. We packed our laptops and headed home with a great smile on our faces. We had become number one, I guess I was good as I thought.
