The Doc - a hero to men everywhere, a man whose colourful shirts could destroy the contrast controls of TV sets the world over. But the man must be the lowest paid Doctor in the world. Only in Ramsay Street would a doctor and a high school principal have the same size house as penniless waster taxi man Joe Scully and his hair snipper of a missus Lynny. He even had to fight when the ignorant scuff wanted to steal some of the Doc's land! No wonder sparks flew but our hero beat the moronic bricky into submission.

His marriage has had its ups and downs of course. He earned the hatred of his wife and family by cheating with Sarah his assistant. OK some may say he was a fool risking his family for her, mind you when you see his wife, but anyway he's back with her now and all is forgiven.

Still I'm sure he'd do it all again given half the chance, just for the reaction of his fellow Ramsay Street men. You could almost smell the jealousy tinged admiration of Lou and Phil on hearing about the shenannigans of the Doc. The man's even a musical genius with songs to rival any band of the last 50 years. With all this and a cunning tactical brain masterminding the cricket team its no wonder Dr Karl's a true Aussie Hero.
