the plot: Following recent criminal activity by Shocker, Ringer, Stilt-Man and Trapster, Spider-Man begins to think that the separate acts might be the work of one villain using their gimmicks. Spidey's right, when he learns it's all the work of the Looter, who stole the other villain's weaponry to use himself. After getting the drop on him, the Looter is then taken away by SHIELD agents, interested in his meteorite research. Confused at the outcome, Spider-Man's spidersense goes berserk as Sentinels flood New York as part of an assault by Onslaught.
